My personality has always had two sides, which take these positions and have various levels: at war, friends, and positive side overpowering the negative one. The interesting thing is that the stances i wrote aren't fixed, their levels change (some days their level's higher, somd days they're lower).
What i've learned this year is that life has good days and bad ones. The only thing we can do on each of these days is accepting their existence (and about bad days, we shouldn't discard them because without them, we can't complete the puzzle of our personality and life in general).
Iβve decided to stop resisting, and since you mentioned the jaw thing again, I feel compelled to share this verse with you. Itβs a parity of a famous poem, and it appears in Alice in Wonderland.
βYou are old, said that youth, and your jaws are too weak for anything tougher than suet:
yet you finished the goose with the bone and the beak prey how did you manage to do it?
in my youth said his father I took to the law and argued each case with my wife,
and the muscular strength, which it gave to my jaw, has lasted the rest of my life.β
I love what you wrote in this post. I feel like we are on a similar journey. I too, and hopefully many many more of us are learning that when we need an answer, the best place to look is within.
I'm sorry your jaw is still locked, but I love that you're finding the words to say anyway. I am sending out my "annual review" letter on Monday. No resolutions, just more of the same β growing, learning, loving, and creating. Happy new year to you and yours. π€
